Imphal, April 15 2025: Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN) and Apunba Manipur Matam Ishei Kanglup (AMMIK) have extended heartfelt condolences upon the sudden demise of renowned Manipuri folk singer Thongam Goshe Meitei on April 14 .

In a press release, HERICOUN said that Goshe Meitei worked relentlessly for the upliftment and progress of Manipuri folk song and provided guidance to many budding artists.

Expressing grief at the loss, AMMIK has asserted that his death will leave a void for eternity.

Both HERICOUN and AMMIK have shared in the grief of the bereaved family.
