Imphal, February 06, 2012: A team of medical officers and paramedical staff of 24 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organized a medical camp at Kwatha village in Chandel district yesterday.

More than 200 patients from Kwatha and nearby areas were treated and provided medicines during the camp.

As part of the camp, an interactive session was also organized with the villagers and they were educated on various diseases including HIV/AIDS, dental problems, Malaria and precautionary measures.

On the other hand, 30 Assam Rifles of 9 sector under HQ IGAR (S) donated solar light to the people of Khurukhul village today.
