Imphal, October 17 2019: Demanding adequate teachers, students of Ananda Singh Higher Secondary Academy blocked road and staged sit-in in front of the school gate today.

Students protest for adequate teachers

The school at Old Checkon, Imphal lacks teachers for Political Science and Geography subjects, said the students.

The students asserted that they were given assurance by the authorities concerned to send required teachers by October 15 .

The protest launched today was a result of the failure of the authorities concerned to deliver their assurance, they said.

They will continue the protest till required teachers are sent, said the students.
