Imphal, July 10 2013:
On the first day of the ongoing 48-hour economic blockade being clamped by Kuki State Demand Committee (KSDC), passengers boarding buses along Imphal-Churachandpur route were not allowed to carry goods of commercial value.
The first day witnessed very low turn out of passengers.
Most of the passenger buses operated service with around five-six passengers today.
Passengers said that blockade supporters did not allow them to carry any goods of commercial value.
The stir started at 5 pm yesterday and will end at 5 pm of July 11 .
