Imphal, February 05 2014: All Zeliangrong Students' Union (AMN) has condoled the demise of Ijirangbe Zeme.

According to a press release, Zeme passed away after a brief illness at Guwahati on February 4.Ijirangbe served All Zeliangrong Students' Union as a general secretary from 1965 to 67 .

He was also not only an executive member of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), he was also a PA to freedom fighter Rani Gaidinliu.

He continued to serve the people as a social worker in Assam till his last breathe, added the press release.

With his death, Zeliangrong people have lost a dynamic leader, the press release said.

The union also shared grief with the bereaved family.
