Imphal, September 20 2022: Maram Battalion of Jwalamukhi Sector provided life-saving medical assistance to a severely injured truck driver who lost the control at a sharp turn.

According to an AR statement, the impact of the accident was so severe that driver Nasimuddin (23) got thrown out of his vehicle in the gorge.

The critically injured driver was immediately brought to 33 Assam Rifles unit hospital and was rendered emergency medical assistant under the guidance of regimental medical officer and subsequently the treatment was provided.

The injured driver was referred to Senapati District Hospital for further treatment.
