Imphal, October 06 2011: The Manipur University, Canchipur, Imphal has awarded its prestigious Kangjam Ongbi Nungshisana Memorial Gold Medal to Maibam Valentina Chanu daughter of Maibam Iboyaima Khuman and Maibam Ongbi Mirabai of Heirangoithong Ahongsangbam Leikai.

Valentina bearing roll no 989004 stood first position in first class in the M Sc Bio-Chemistry (4th Semester) Examination 2011 conducted by the University.
