Imphal, June 23 2022: The State's Covid-19 active caseload has touched seven after a resident of Imphal East was confirmed positive out of 72 samples tested during the last 24 hours.

There is neither any report of Covid related death nor recovery or discharge of positive persons during the last 24 hours.

Nonetheless, the pandemic had already claimed 2120 lives in the State.

The cumulative number of positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,251 (general population 1,32,237 and Central security personnel 5,014).This figure includes seven active cases from general population and 1,35,124 recovered cases (general population 1,30,117 and Central security personnel 5,007) .

The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.

The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 29,46,628 (first dose 15,87,979, second dose 12,53,013 and precautionary dose 105,636) .
