New buildings of 143 Bn CRPF inaugurated

Imphal, February 20 2022: A newly constructed Subordinate Officers' Mess dormitory and Men's club with Canteen and Hospital of 143 battalion CRPF Lamphelpat were inaugurated on Saturday and subsequently upgraded the living standard of unit subordinate officers (SOs) and personnel.

A release by the 143 Bn commandant informed that the inauguration event was attended by CRPF director general Kuldiep Singh as chief guest and he inaugurated the newly constructed facilities in the presence of special director general (Operation) Zulfiquar Hassan, ADG CRPF North Eastern Zone Sanjeev Ranjan Ohja, IG CRPF Manipur & Nagaland Sector Manish Kumar Agrawal, DIG SSO to DG Ajay Kumar Singh, DIG (PAW) M&N Sector Suresh Sharma, 143 Bn CRPF commandant Lamkhokam Lhoujem, CPWD Imphal executive engineer Himanshu Mehta and 143 Bn SOs and personnel.

Kuldiep Singh expressed happiness on fulfilling the long withstanding need of the SOs and Jawans.

He stated that efforts are on to improve living standard of CRPF Jawans at all locations.
