Only BJP Govt could bring peace: Ibomcha

Imphal, November 13 2021: BJP Manipur Pradesh sports cell convener and intending candidate in Patsoi AC Wakambam Ibomcha has claimed that only BJP government could bring peace in the state and hence everyone should make effort for bringing a BJP only government through the upcoming assembly elections.

Addressing a press conference at his Takyel Khong-bal residence on Saturday, Ibomcha said that BJP would get absolute majority in the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election to be held in early part of 2022 and people of the state should give BJP the opportunity to form government as it is a powerful political party.

He said that the political party which governed the state for around 50 years failed to formulate a concrete long-term policy, for ensuring sustenance of the state on its own but rather held the perception that the state should remain dependent on the Centre due to lack of resources.

He also said that proper implementation of MLR Act would bring hills and valley people closer and this Act must be looked into closely.

He also stressed the need for giving more emphasis on youth and promised to focus on youth.
