Imphal, June 23 2022: As the threat of Covid-19 still lingers, the state health department is taking up house-to-house vaccination campaign under 'Har Ghar Dastak 2.0' of the ministry of health and family welfare.

The two-month long vaccination campaign was launched on June 1 and will continue till July 30 in all the states and union territories of the country.

As part of the campaign, teams of district health services societies have been carrying out vaccination of all eligible individuals from 12 years and above.

As per official report, the number of targeted beneficiaries is 1,20,000 for 12-14 years; 1,74,000 for 15-18 years; and 23,41,000 for 18 years and above.

The campaign is being taken up with special focus on areas with low vaccination rates.

However, the state's health serviced department is facing certain challenges in carrying out the campaign in interior areas due to lack of manpower and fund.
