Lamka, September 29:
The fateful incident on Tuesday may be a feat for HPC (D) and a gloomy moment for HNA, yet, it was a moment that will beget landmark achievement to the descendents of Sinlung, said a Hmar National Assembly (HNA) release.
The release signed by VK Ramhar, Asst Secretary, Information & Publicity HNA, claimed that their organisation was established to accomplish the aspirations of Hmar community.
Contending that unlike the HPC (D), HNA will not retract from its earlier stance, the release said its threat to issue quit notice on the meitei community settled in Churachandpur was an offshoot of HPC (D)'s grovelling action over UNLF despite being petrified of them.
As every move of theirs is for realising that dream, all those, including HPC (D) and their cohorts, that attempt to thwart the movement will be dealt with befittingly, it added.
It charged the HPC (D) of being whimsical even after ten years, allying with one group after another whenever they were on the receiving end.
Contending that unlike the HPC (D), HNA will not retract from its earlier stance, the release said its threat to issue quit notice upon meitei community in Churachandpur was an offshoot of HPC (D) craven action over UNLF despite being petrified of them.
If the need be, we will still serve the quit notice to Churachandpur meitei, it affirmed.
