SSUM warns agitation on the attempt to wipe out indigenous people

Socialist Students' Union Manipur (SSUM) today expressed apprehension to the fate of the indigenous people of the state after the filing of nomination by a Non Manipuri to contest the upcoming state assembly election.
In a press statement the outfit said that the said non local was earlier listed among the list of congress candidate and without making any public announcement whether he drops the congress party or not he simply file the nomination which is a clear indication of the Congress party conspiring with him.
The kind of act and attitude is nothing but an attempt to wipe out the indigenous people of the state and the SSUM will not let it happened, the statement added.
The students body said that by filing the nomination paper to contest in the upcoming election the non Manipur and the political party which had earlier alloted party ticket to contest in the upcoming state election had showed that there agenda is nothing but to end the indigenous people of the state.
SSUM warns of serious agiatation if the indigenous people are targeted by any force.
It also appealed the people to support the agitation.
