Imphal, August 01 2013: Expressing concern over the hardships and setbacks encountered by the public due to the landslide on the National Highways resulting in the shortage of essential commodities, the Mizo Zirlai Pawl (Mizo students' assn), Manipur headquarters has urged all businessmen, traders, officials etc who acquire and supply goods from Mizoram not to take any advantage for their own benefits, but to abide by humanitarian considerations.

A statement issued by the MZP, Headquarters Manipur earnestly appealed to the authorities concerned �the BRO, State Government etc to put in their best mite in maintaining and repairing Guite Road, which is the only reliable and accessible lifeline at this juncture.

The Mizo students' body also congratulated S Thienlaljoy Gangte, MCS on his appointment as the SDO of Thanlon.
