Awareness on 'Viksit Bharat@2047' conducted

A special outreach programme aimed at raising awareness on Union government's 'Viksit Bharat@2047' was conducted by Field Office of Union Ministry of I&B Central Bureau of Communication at Purum Tampak village in Chandel district on Tuesday.
The programme was attended by TD Chandel block VLW Makan Kanwar Chothe, Purum Tampak village chairman Y Brojen Chothe, village secretary PR Washington and Anganwadi worker PR Singha Chothe as presidium members cum speakers.
Delivering the keynote address, CBC/FO, Chandel FPA Mathew SK Bengant highlighted that 'Viksit Bharat@2047' is the vision of the central government to make India a developed country By 2047, the 100th year of its Independence.
He also informed that under Viksit Bharat the government aims to empower the youth, poor, women and farmers, so as to realise the goal of a developed India.
As a part of the programme, Singha Chothe spoke on various health schemes under Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme while VLW Makan Kanwar Chothe elaborated on various government schemes for rural development.
A spot quiz competition was also organised and prizes distributed to the winners.
