Village Chiefs dismayed with Kasaso's removal

Two Chiefs of Laii Village have requested four-time elected Senapati ADC member LK Kasaso to resign from the Congress party as he has been removed from the post of Executive Member allegedly by ADC Chairman RS Hiilii Henry "unceremoniously" .
In a press release, Laii Village chiefs Kh Ziirai and D.Tho said that the 78 year-old LK Kasaso had aspired to eventually serve as the ADC Chairman as he was made the "No.1 Executive member and was made in-charge of Horticulture & Sericulture; Veterinary and Animal Husbandry and Adult Eduction with commendable achievements.
The two chiefs said that during his tenure, thousands of fruit plants and different kinds of vegetable seeds were made available to poor farmers in Senapati District besides embarking on land development programmes/schemes under his department.
During his tenure, LK Kasaso also provided poor families with "low input technology birds to many beneficiaries apart from establishing 64 adult education centres in 2014 that led to the employment of 128 persons.
While appreciating contributions of the ADC member, the two chiefs also wanted to know the reasons behind his removal from the post of executive member.
