MLA reviews developmental works in Sora area

Kakching, March 02 2025: Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar on Sunday reviewed developmental works being implemented under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) and other funds in areas under Irengband Gram Panchayat.

His inspection visit covered Sora Maning where concrete drain and stone paved road are being constructed under MGNREGS.

Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of the visit, Rameshwar informed that black topping of the Sora-Irengband road will be included in the work programme as and when a new government is formed.

He also assured that bylanes linking the main roads under Sora GP would be blacktopped in addition to other developmental projects in long-neglected Sora area, during his term.
