Phaitoul, November 03 2014: A community hall at Ngahmunphai Village in Tousem Sub-division of Tamenglong District was inaugurated by ADC Member of 10/Phaitol in Tamenglong Smt.

The community hall has been constructed at the cost of Rs.10 lakh under the DRDA.

The ADC Member, who attended the inauguration as chief guest also distributed 120 quintal of rice to the residents of 15 villages particularly the Tatbung Village, Old Keiphundai village, Vangaichungpao village, Lhangnom village, Ngahmunphai village and Phaituol village under Tousem Sub-division under the PDS.

Hatlhing Dougel also inspected the ongoing construction of guest house at Phaituol village under the MP Local Area Developemnt Fund provided by MP Thangso Baite.

Talking to media persons, Hatlhing Dougel stated that an office of village authority of Phaituol village will be constructed under the BRGF, and extension rooms for certain schools will also be constructed under the MSDP.

He further assured the people that the road connecting Phaituol village with NH 37 will be black-topped, and construction of houses for BPL families under IAY will also begin.
