LPG safety awareness programme held

Imphal, October 03 2026: As part of its ongoing campaign to create awareness among consumers on safe handling of LPG and to provide precautionary measures, All Gas Care (AGC).

Manipur State today organised an awareness programme at Lambal Mayai Leikai Community Hall, Imphal West District.

The awareness programme was organised jointly by Pandam VLF and Lambal Meira Paibi Nupi Lup in association with AGC Manipur State, to educate the public on how to safely use cooking gas and to prevent accidents.

The programme included demonstrations and interaction with the public on safety measures.

Manager, AGC Manipur State, Shagolsem Joyprakash spoke as a resource person on how to prevent fire and explosion from LPG leakage and explained safety precautions to the public.

Head mechanic N Avinash and other officials of AGC also took part in the programme.

The programme culminated in an awareness performance by artistes of the Sangai Artist Association, who highlighted safety measures against fires and explosions caused by LPG .
