KEMKAL demands Government's action

Kege Moirang Kendra Apunba Lup (KEMKAL) has urged the State Government to bring an amicable solution regarding the issue of inclusion of Moirang Kendra in Thanga, at the earliest.
Speaking to media persons at the association's office, KEMKAL president Y Suijitkumar Singh stated that on July 3, Moirang Kendra and Thanga Kendra MLAs, chairperson, Zilla Parishad Member, Pradhan, CSOs conducted a meeting at Chief Minister's Chamber and reached an agreement to constitute a committee, with Bishnupur DC as the convenor, to investigate the matter, but no tangible action has been taken up till now.
He urged the State Government to take up necessary steps to solve the issue at the earliest.
He further demanded the authority concerned to look into developmental works and projects which have resumed at tlie areas where CrPC 144 was declared although it was initially agreed to cease all ongoing developmental work in the area.
KEMKAL secretary M Shanti Kumar Singh, volunteers of Moirang Kendra Progressive Front and several volunteers of KEMKAL were also present at the meet.
