Thoubal, April 30 2023: The valedictory ceremony of the two-day Youth Convention Khangabok was held today at Khangabok Part II community hall organised by Khangabok Development Society (KDS).

Dignitaries present at the closing event include Dr Laishram Somenkumar, MD, Sur Hospital Khangabok; Thokchom Sanathoi, Assistant Manager, NABARD Assam Regional Office Guwahati; Moirangthem Sanjoy, secretary, Khangabok Part II community hall and Ningthoujam Dijen, advisory board member, KDS as the presidium members.

Guest speakers Raj Nongthombam, Editor, Impact News; film actress Manda and body builder Bobby Arambam delivered speeches on the occasion.

As a part of the day's function, Somi Maisnam, a farmer from Wangkhei Thambalkhong was honoured with the 'Daughter of the Soil" title.

During the evening session of the program, prizes were distributed to the winners of State level essay writing competition and district level painting competition held in connection with the youth convention.
