MBC Hr Sec School organizes graduation day, toppers of Kpi centre in HSLC exam felicitated

Kangpokpi, May 29 2019: MBC Higher Secondary School, Mission Compound, Kangpokpi held graduation day of its meritorious students who have excelled in Class X and XII exams conducted by BOSEM and COHSEM, wherein all the successful students were seen donning graduation attire and were feted in one of the grandest manner in the presence of their parents and guardians.

Altogether, 59 students including 26 HSLC successful students, 9 HSE (Arts) successful students and 24 HSE (Science) successful students from MBC Higher Secondary School, Mission Compound, Kangpokpi was inspiringly felicitated at Mission Compound Chapel, Ward No 10, Kangpokpi DHQs during the grand graduation day event.

Even if the students of MBC Higher Secondary School, Kangpokpi appeared the HSLC and HSE examinations at Imphal, the school has maintained its consistent cent per cent pass percentage record till this year apart from securing letter marks in MIL, Maths, Commerce and English by most of the students.

Irene Hmar, the school topper in HSLC secured 75% including letter marks in MIL/Th-Kuki, English and Commerce and the school topper in HSE (Arts) Johna Sharma (71 %) with letter marks in English and MIL/Alt English and HSE (Science) school topper Kamgougin Haokip (69%) with letter marks in MIL/Th-Kuki were felicitated separately during the graduation day.

During the felicitation programme, Dr Ngamkhohao Haokip motivated the students to achieve new heights with work hard and determination.

Students and their parents appreciated the school authority of MBC High Secondary School not only for their commitment towards their duties and responsibilities but also their sincere efforts in felicitating meritorious students which every students and parents would cherish forever in their life.

Apart from the meritorious students and their parents, Dr Ngamkhohao Haokip, Secretary, MBCHSS and his wife Y Ibotombi Singh; Principal, MBCHSS, Bir Pradhan; Vice Principal, MBCHSS, P Maihilakbou, Chaplain, Mission Compound Chapel and all lecturers of the college also attended the graduation day.

Meanwhile, toppers of the two Kangpokpi HSLC Private Centre 2019 were felicitated with an incentive with the sole aim to motivate them in their future endeavours at Conference Room, ZEO Kangpokpi.

The felicitation cum award distribution programme was sponsored by HSLC Kangpokpi Private Centre Committee, 2019 in collaboration with Zonal Education Office, Kangpokpi, Govt of Manipur.

P Saraswati Devi Basnet d/o Basnet Hari Chhetry, Kangpokpi of Elite Hr Sec School top the HSLC Kangpokpi Private Centre (Parizeau Maranatha Academy) with 83% and Lamkaitin Gangte s/o Songkhosat Gangte, Vengthah Ward No 3, Kangpokpi top HSLC Kangpokpi Private Centre (Elite Hr Sec School) with 80%.The toppers were awarded with certificate and cash incentive of Rs 5,000 each for their excellent performance and as an encouragement for their further studies.

ZEO Kangpokpi, Lhingneikim appreciated and congratulated the two toppers while motivating to do better in their further studies and remain an example to many young learners of the district while adding that hard work, determination and self confidence is the most important factor for success in life and encouraged the two toppers to work hard with determination and self confidence.

Apart from officials and staffs of ZEO Kangpokpi and HSLC Kangpokpi Private Centre Committee, local bodies including KTC, KWWO and Principal of Diamond Eng H/S, PMA, Lighthouse and representatives of St Francis de Sales School, Daili Kangpokpi also participated in the felicitation and award distribution function.
