Thoubal, September 18 2024: A joint co-ordinating body of Lilong clubs entitled Lilong United Clubs (LUC) was constituted today.

The joint body was formed after presidents and secretaries of 48 clubs of Lilong held talks at Lilong Ifham Leikai Development Club office.

Notably, Sajad Buya was appointed as the convenor of LUC, Aziz Hussain Nongjai and Wajeruddin YM as coconvenors and Kh Ziaur Rahaman as the co-ordinator.

Altogether 15 new members were appointed today.

In coordination with the concerned Government authorities, the newly formed co-ordinating body will address issues related to development, office construction, water supply and other issues of the time in the area.
