Imphal, May 29 2009: A day after the underground PULF posed several questions to the KYKL, the militant group claiming hands in the killing of Prof Islamuddin, a Bangkok-based National Liberation Support Group � a group which solely claims to support and stand for the genuine revolutionaries and not the organisation who run as an industry � said the KYKL need not answer the posers put forward by the PULF.

Saying that the questions raised by the PULF relating to the killing of Prof Islamuddin come as a strange news to the people of Manipur, the National Liberation Support Group (NLSG) wonders, in a press communiqu�, why the PULF needs clarification through media when the questions can be raised at the organisation level.

The statement issued by one, Ningthem, Chairman NLSG, Thailand stated that it has been more than a decade the KYKL, the revolutionary organisation tirelessly reformed the educational system under Operation New Kangleipak (ONK).

It noted that with hue and cry, negative comments, and labeled with negative remarks at the initial stage which negate the long vision of building human resources in today's cutthroat competitive world under the banner of quality education, the people of Manipur have now realised what KYKL was dreaming about and also enjoying the fruits bearing gradually.

Such bold steps should be appreciated and implemented by one and all including the community based militant outfits instead of negating the movement by questioning those irrelevant and irresponsible questions simply because the Professor belongs to a particular community, it reasons.

Will PULF raise the issue if the professor belong to other community and ask for clarification?, the NLSG statement categorically asked adding that they wonder why PULF needs clarification through media when the questions can be raised at the organization level.

No matter what the professor contributes during his tenure as a Dean of Students Welfare his actions and motives are of divisive not inclusive as we all know through the newspapers, the statement asserts.

Using a particular student body as an instrument to achieve hidden agenda by a responsible authority is an unfortunate incident for the people of Manipur.

Rules of law should apply to all the citizens of Manipur regardless of religion, creed, caste etc, it stated.

"We cannot afford to have different yardsticks for different communities in dealing with such acts for a better future instead of communalising the issue," the statement added.

"Where were PULF when the religious site of Ebudhou Pakhangba at Hanna Cheeng was uprooted and mocked in uncivilized manner? Wasn't it your responsibility as a community and as an organisation to maintain and control the drug trafficking where it is openly available in all Muslim dominated areas and many of cadres were involved in trafficking? Is your organisation incapable of controlling your cadres or are you directly or indirectly targetting major community," the statement asked categorically.

"Having taken the responsibility of a Muslim Organization there was no clarification how the site was mocked in Urdu and Arabic language.

But we maintain our sentiments and humiliations for the peaceful co � existence.

This is what we called secularism.

We view Meitei Pangal no different than Meitei as we have been living and sharing all hardship together since many years.

This is what we understand as democracy," the statement directed.

The statement further observed that there are organisations which have no mandate and political vision which only extort and kidnap in the name of revolution.

What if the people of Manipur ask PULF activities of the last 10 years except the splitting fractions and changing its finance secretaries? It is obvious to the people which sovereignty and independence PULF is trying to project.

"Now it is time to defrost the ethnic nationalism instead we all make effort to identify and fight our common enemy, for our common objective, the statement pointed out while also sharing the grief and sorrows of the families and relatives of the deceased Prof.Islammudin and added that political realities need to be exposed besides all emotions.is detrimental to the maintenance of law and order, investifation of the case and also affect the normal lives of the general public, according to the statement.
