Bishnupur, November 13 2017:
Students of Boryangbi Government Upper Primary School under Kumbi AC took out a rally condemning the transfer of five teachers, despite the insufficient number of teachers in the school.
The required number of teachers for the school is 13, however, only 10 teachers have been taking care of the school.
It was from July 2017, that the transfer began and five teachers were served transferred order in which three were utilised in other school, reports our correspondent.
The school is left with only five teachers at present and one teacher who was sent to the school to substitute a transferred teacher has not started his duty till date.
It can be recalled that the Director Education (S) has been urged repeatedly to look into the matter but no steps have been taken up.
The students are enraged with the transfer of teachers especially when their final examinations were close.
One of the students who participated in the I rally appealed the authority concerned to pro-| vide the required number of teachers to the school and further cautioned to launch boycott of final exam, which is scheduled from November 29 .
