State BJP hails first 100 days of Modi 3.0 Govt

Imphal, September 18 2024: The activities and development the Modi 3.0 Government has achieved in its first 100 days are clear signs that the BJP would be able to deliver on its 2024 Parliamentary election promise to make India a superpower by 2047, said BJP senior vice president N Nimbus.

He said this while speaking to reporters at the party's office at Nityaipat Chuthek today.

He said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government has increased and earmarked a huge amount of money for improving and enhancing defence and security.

During Atal Bihari Vajpayee's Government in 1998, India conducted two nuclear tests and became a nuclear power.

Now, Modi has strengthened India's security and defence, and brought about projects aimed at inclusive growth, he said.

Acknowledging what PM Modi has done for India's security, many Nations have given their highest honour and awards to him, he added.

BJP general secretary P Premananda said he appreciates steps taken by the Centre as part of the 100 days programme which were announced by the Union Home Minister yesterday.

He said Home Minister Amit produced a 5-point roadman to resolve the Manipur conflict understanding that the violence has been caused by illegal infiltration.

After extending the Inner Line Permit System to Manipur, the Government has completed fencing a 30-lalometre long stretch of the Indo-Myanmar border, he said.

Further, steps are being taken up to erect fencing along 394 kilometres of the border.

The money for this has already been sanctioned within the first 100 days, he added.

Also, as per the aspiration of the people, CRPF personnel have been deployed for safety and security of the civilians and their properties.

To curb illegal infiltration, the Free Movement Regime (FMR) has been revoked and talks have been initiated with Meitei and Kuki groups, he said.

Premananda also mentioned that the Governor, on the other hand, has taken up steps to launch fair price shops in as many as 24 places.
