Four years of Citizen Centric Governance celebrated across the State

Imphal, March 15 2021: To mark the four years of BJP-led coalition Government in Manipur, under the leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh, various District Administrations oragnised Four Years of Citizen Centric Governance celebration programmes across the State today.

BISHNUPUR
Bishnupur district participated in the district level celebrations of 4yrs of Citizen Centric Governance organised by District Administration, Bishnupur which started from March 9, came to an end today.

On the last day of the celebration, a district level celebration programme was held at Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur today.

The program was attended by DC Bishnupur Neeta Arambam, Additional SP Luikham Lanmio, DLOs and students from across the district.

10 selected students were awarded solar study lamps, while 20 menstrual hygiene packages were also distributed to selected 20 females from the district.

CHANDEL
Chandel district joined the State in the celebration held at District Head Quarters Chandel organised by the District Administration, Chandel.

Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, Additional Deputy Commissioner Chandel Ksh Siddharth enumerated the achievements of the present Government in the last 4 years.

He further added that Chandel district joined the celebration which started from the 10th of this month and various programmes like Cleanliness drives, Tree plantations, Covid awareness, Rogar divas, Har Ghar Nal etc have been conducted throughout the district.

Speaking about the developments of the district he said Chandel became one of the seven districts where free dialysis in the district hospital had already started.

He also said that Chandel district also became an Open Defecation free district.

He further added that Chandel has been declared as the 10th most improved district of all Aspirational district.

As part of today's celebration Hearing aids, wheel chairs and spectacles were also distributed to the beneficiaries.

Stalls of different departments and other services were also displayed as a part of the celebration.

CHURACHANDPUR
In a public function at Pherzawl District headquarters, Deputy Commissioner of Pherzawl Mannuamching distributed solar lantern to 10 students (5 girls and 5 boys) and sanitary pads to 40 girls.

During the programme, short achievement reports were given by District officers from the Forest, PHED, PWD, MSPDCL, Education and Medical Departments.

Additional Deputy Commissioner S Thienlaljoy Gangte presented a power-point presentation on the Government achievements during the last four years.

Dr Lalmalsawm, MO, Parbung CHC sensitized the public on menstrual hygiene while Pherzawl Cultural Troupe enthralled the gatherings with presentation of colourful Hmar cultural dance.

As a part of the celebration programme, a Special Camp was opened after the function for preparation of health cards.

At the same time, the celebration was also carried out at Sub-Divisional Headquarters by the SDOs including Thanlon, Tipaimukh and Vangai Range.

The State level function at Imphal was watched live through YouTube at different schools and Anganwadi centres.

KANGPOKPI
The District Administration of Kangpokpi joined the celebration via video conference at Multipurpose Hall, DC office Kangpokpi.

The celebration was attended by DC Kangpokpi, Somorjit Salam, IAS, SP Kangpokpi, PGSingsit, IPS, Addl.DC Kangpokpi, Lalramsang Intimate, MCS, Addl.SPs, SDOs, SDC and other district level officers of the district.

Ten students from the district were given solar study lamp during the occasion at DC office, Kangpokpi and other activities including embarking on sanitation drive and tree plantation were also carried out.

SENAPATI
The District Administration of Senapati displayed a Virtual viewing of State Level Programme held in Imphal today to the public at the Multi- Purpose Hall, DC Complex, Senapati.

Speaking on today's programme, Th Kirankumar, Deputy Commissioner, Senapati stated that the uniqueness of the present Government can be seen clearly with the closeness of the public and the Government where earlier it was unapproachable.

In the welcome address, A Adahrii Maheo, MCS, Additional District Magistrate, Senapati stated that the Government has been working hard in reaching out to various section of the society for the welfare of people.

He said that the 4 year celebration on the achievement of the government of Manipur began on March 10 with cleanliness drive;Tree Plantation Drive on 11 th ; awareness on village health and nutrition, COVID appropriate behaviour and COVID vaccination, war against drugs on 12 th ; workshops on Rozgar Diwas/ Skilling and employment on 13 th ; and, awareness drive on Har Ghar Nal/ handwashing/ ODF on 14 th in all the Health centres, Anganwadi centres, schools & colleges and various sub-divisional blocks.

P P Ronald, Sub- Divisional Officer, Purul in his speech highlighted various achievements and programmes of the Government of Manipur taken up in the district in the last 4 years.

Also, a bike rally was organised by Senapati District Administration in collaboration with SDSA and Royal Brothers, Senapati flagged off by M Pradip Singh, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Senapati from Karong Bus Parking.

TAMENGLONG
District Administration of Tamenglong organised a programme at Mini Secretariat conference hall at Tamenglong District Headquarter today.

Armstrong Pame, DC, Tamenglong, Sandip Gopaldas, SP, Tamenglong, Kajaigai Gangmei, ADM Tamenglong, Mahesh Hiralal Chaudhuri, SDO, Tamenglong and Hitler, DFO, Tamenglong attended the programme as the presidium members.

Speaking as the chief guest on the occasion, Armstrong Pame, spoke about the six mega projects and various developmental projects which was taken up in Tamenglong district and extended gratitude to the people of Tamenglong for their support and cooperation.

As a part of the celebration, a short movie making competition was held and the first and second place was bagged by Gaichuimei Pamei and Joyson Gonmei respectively.

An inter school competition 'My vision for Tamenglong' was also conducted among the various schools of Tamenglong district.

On this occasion solar lantern were also distributed to the five students of Gadailong Higher Secondary School of Tamenglong.

Various public leaders, CSO, church leaders attended the program and deliberated on the achievements of the four years of BJP-led coalition Government in Manipur which brought development and changes particularly in Tamenglong district.

Under the banner of District Information Office (DIO) Tamenglong, a video showcasing the achievements of the BJP-led coalition Government of Manipur was displayed in LCD screen in different areas of Tamenglong headquarters.

During the week long celebration which started from March 10 around eight hundred saplings were planted at Mini Secretariat Complex and Eklavya Model residential School Tamenglong.

An awareness campaign to sensitise the public about the effects and consequences of single-use plastics on our environment was also conducted.

District Level Officers and the various Government departments of Tamenglong district carried out a cleanliness drive from Haipou Jadonang Park to the Mini Secretariat complex.

Tamenglong District police along with health department also carried out various rallies on war against drugs and awareness campaign on COVID-19 in Tamenglong Headquarter during the week long celebration.

PHED Tamenglong Division also organised an awareness campaign on 'Hand Washing and Open Defecation Free (ODF)' at Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Farmland, Tamenglong district.

TENGNOUPAL
A celebration programme was held at the ground of Tengnoupal Government High School organised by District Administration Tengnoupal today attended by DC Tengnoupal Mayanglambam Rajkumar as the chief guest.

SP of Tengnoupal District Police Th Vikramjit, CMO Dr Kh Gojen, OC of 82 RCC and other Govt officials also attended the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, M Rajkumar enlisted the activities of the various Government departments in the district over the past 4 years and lauded the PHED Dept for its impeccable service.

Certificates of appreciation were presented to many Government officials of the district acknowledging their contributions.

THOUBAL
The District Administration, Thoubal organized the Emerging Manipur, at the Counting Hall, DC office Thoubal as a part of the celebration of completion of four of Citizens Centric Governance.

Thoubal Zilla Parishad Adhyaksha Hasina Begum, Deputy Commissioner Thoubal N Bandana and SP Thoubal Dr S Ibomcha attended as the presidium members, N Bandana said, under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh, various development activities have been taken up in the District.

She urged the elected members to help the people in getting PMJAY and CMHT cards.

UKHRUL
Although much is yet to be achieve but the present BJP led State Government headed by CM N.Biren Singh has bridged the gap between hills and valley, restoring the division of different communities and has strengthen the feeling of oneness and peaceful co-existence is remarkable achievement stated Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) president Hopingson while addressing at the celebration of four years achievement programme of Manipur state government held at Mini Secretariat office complex Hamleikhong, Ukhrul.

TNL president Hopingson lauded the BJP led government for the condemnable work done during the short tenure of time that has transformed state in term of developments activities across the districts.

Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul Joseph Pauline Kamson who attend as the chief guest of the celebration highlighted the public about the various developmental activities executed in Ukhrul district during the last four years under BJP led Government.

He said the celebration is not merely showcasing or highlighting of the state government achievement but the re-introspect for better execution of their services in years to come by establishing the ground situation of every districts.

He also mentioned that state government upgraded Shirui Lily Festival to state festival seeing potential and to promote of tourism in the district.

According to reports of DC, Ukhrul nine projects for Ukhrul district were inaugurated by CM N Biren Singh and one Foundation stone was laid by him today at Imphal for Ukhrul district.

Later, the Chief guest distributed school uniform to school going children under SSA, Old pension scheme card, wheel chairs, CMHT health card, and PMKVY certificates as part of the celebration programme.

The programme was attended by SDOs, EX-NCW member Soso Shaiza,Councilors, DLOs, district social organization leaders, headmen and the public of Ukhrul crowded the mini Secretariat the celebration venue.
