Representatives of eleven political parties who held a meeting yesterday at the residence of V Hangkhanlian were reported to have come out with the formation of a collective front, according to a reliable source.
Though the non-Congress political parties' representatives refused to reveal the name of the front, it has been learnt that they have elected leaders among themselves.
The eleven parties included MPP, NCP, NPP, NPF, CPI, CPI-M, JD (U), Lok Jan Shakti, MSCP, BJP, and AITC.
They are said to be all set to form a coalition Government.
The meeting elected Working President of MSCP Devabrata, and MPP President Dr Nimaichand Luwang as co-convenors of the front while State Secretary of CPI Dr M Nara was said to be appointed as the Spokesperson.
They are expected to declare the name of the front as well come up with their common minimum programme tomorrow.
