Achievement of BJP led government highlights
on celebration of Emerging Manipur - 4 Years of Citizen Centric Governance

Imphal, March 15 2021: With the completion of 4 years of BJP's N Biren Singh led government, state government today celebrated its achievement under the barner "Emerging Manipur � 4 years of Citizen Centric Government at City Convention today.

The completion of 4 years of N.Biren Singh Government was also celebrated at Jiribam, Tamenglong, Bishnupur and other district head quarters of the state.

N Biren Chief Minister Y Joykumar Deputy CM Th Biswajit minister works AR and IPR Letpao Haokip Minister Water resources and YAS Losii Dikho minister PHED, Awangbow Newmai Minister Forest and Enviroment Sorokhaibam Rajen Minister Education Vungzagin valte Minister Agriculture Henery Okram social welfare attended the function.

As a part a of the celebration the Chief Minister inaugurated an exhibition.

Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister said that with Go to hill and go to village mission the state has been able achieved great success in bridging the hill valley gap and the urban rural divide and covered 2691 villages.

In the past years Tamanglong College did not have science stream but after BJP Led government comes to Manipur, Tamanglong college today have science stream open by sanctioning an estimated cost of Rs.15 crore.

The School fagathasni mission ( lets make our school better) have enable thousands of children from poor family to attend schools and quality education.

The educated youths are now able to stand on their own feet and also generate employment.

In the sports sector with the blessing of everyone the boys and girls can practice in ground equipped with flood light.

The government of Manipur war on drugs is on the right track and crackdown on drugs is aimed to achive the status of drug free Manipur and destroyed more than 34 crores.

In recognition of the efforts under War on drugs mission various communities from both hill and valley have been pouring their wholehearted support in this mission.

For the welfare of the journalists in Manipur pension scheme upgraded to rs 6000 per month and fully covered PMJAY and CMHT.

Artists sportspersons also given pension per month Rs 6000/- Prime minister Modi has laid foundation for Manipur water supply project worth Rs 3054 crore for every household of hill and valley to provided drinking through this scheme till now 46.73 percent covered house hold.

In the last 2 years Manipur organic mission of Horticulture dept has successfully able to facilitate marketing of Manipur pine apple to major cities of the india.

The demand of these organic farm produce has been coming from big cities.

During 2018 and 2019 about 250 MT of queen pine apple grown and produced by organic farmers have been sold .

Chief minister N Biren inaugurated 300 plus project and laying of foundation stone 30 plus project.

During the function of 4 years citizen centric governance chief Minister distribted solar study lantems to 16 students from the district of Manipur .

Lunching of state focus paper for the 2021 -2022 and various initiative of NABARD.

And handover mobile rural mart and mobile van keys to FPOs.

Lunching of 11 FPOs in command areas of Thoubal multipurpose project.

At Bishnupur district also participated in the district level celebrations of 4yrs of citizen centric governance.

Organised by District Administration, Bishnupur the week-long celebration across the district starting from 9th March, 2021 came to end today.

On the last day of the celebration, a district level celebration program was held at Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur.

The program was attended by DC Bishnupur Neeta Arambam, Additional SP Luikham Lanmio, DLOs and students from across the district.

10 selected students were awarded solar study lamps, while 20 menstrual hygiene packages were also distributed to selected 20 females from the district.

At Tamenglong district to mark the four years of BJP-led coalition government in Manipur, under the leadership of N.Biren Singh CM, District Administration of Tamenglong celebrates Citizen Centric Governance at Mini Secretariat conference hall at Tamenglong District Headquarter.

Armstrong Pame, DC, Tamenglong, Sandip Gopaldas, SP, Tamenglong, Kajaigai Gangmei, ADM Tamenglong, Mahesh Hiralal Chaudhuri, SDO, Tamenglong and Hitler, DFO, Tamenglong attended the celebration program as chief guest and presidium members.

Armstrong Pame, DC, Tamenglong in his chief guest speech talks about the six mega projects and various developmental projects which was taken up in Tamenglong district.

He stated that in the process of taking up the mega projects the citizens of Tamenglong were so cooperative with the government in developing the Tamenglong district and for the kind gesture he thank the people of Tamenglong from the bottom of his heart for their act of kindness and help.

He also request the people gather in the function in beautifying the Tamenglong ground.

As part of the celebration short movie making competition was awarded to Gaichuimei Pamei and second prize was bagged by Joyson Gonmei, the prize carries a cash award of Rs 10000/- and Rs 5000/- for first and second prize respectively.

An inter school competition 'My vision for Tamenglong' was also conducted among the various schools of Tamenglong district.

On this occasion solar lantern were also distributed to the five students of Gadailong higher secondary school of Tamenglong.

Various public leaders, CSO, church leaders attended the program and give speech on the achievements of the four years of BJP-led coalition government in Manipur and which bring development and changes particularly in Tamenglong district.

Under the banner of District Information Office (DIPR), Tamenglong, a video about the BJP-led coalition government achievements of Manipur was also displayed in LCD screen in different areas of Tamenglong headquarters.

During the week long celebration which starts from 10th March around eight hundred saplings were also planted at Mini Secretariat Complex and Eklavya Model residential school Tamenglong.

An awareness campaign in order to sensitise the public about the effects and consequences of single-use plastics on our environment, District Level Officers and the various government departments of Tamenglong district carried out a cleanliness drive from Haipou Jadonang Park to the Mini Secretariat complex.

Tamenglong District police along with health department also carried out various rallies on war against drugs and awareness campaign on COVID-19 in Tamenglong headquarter during the week long celebration.

PHED Tamenglong Division also organised an awareness on 'Hand Washing and Open Defecation Free (ODF)' at Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Farmland, Tamenglong district.

It may be noted that on March 15, 2017, BJP formed its first government in Manipur under the leadership of N Biren Singh as the chief minis- ter ending the Congress' 15- year rule in the state.

At Jiribam too, to mark 4 years anniversary of BJP led State Government, the District Administration of Jiribam celebrated 4 years achievement of the government of Manipur today at the Jiribam Municipal- ity Auditorium hall.

During the celebration, the Deputy Commissioner of Jiribam W.Malemnganba Chenglei, IAS in his speech presented four years achievement report card of the District in which included construction of Teachers & Doctors transit camp, Ima market, Helipad at Jiribam District as well as bringing back the stranded Manipur people from the different parts of the country during the COVID-19 pandemic under the leadership of Chief Minister of Manipur N.Biren Singh.

On the speech of functional Chief Guest Kh Janaki Devi, Adhaksha, Jiribam Zilla Parishad said that under the leadership of N.Biren Singh, the State brought immense changes in the field of development as well as brought peace and co-operation among the Citizens of Manipur.

She added, the present BJP led government of the State is a concrete rooted citizens government.

She also encourage the Chief Minister of Manipur and his ministerial colleagues for their efforts in to the transformation of Manipur into the newer height of development.

During the programme, live display of State function was held.

Thereafter, distributed solar study lamps to 10 students of Jiribam from various government schools.

In the evening session various cultural show from different community dispayed in the celebration.

Kh Janaki Devi, Adhaksha Jiribam Zilla Parishad; W Malemnganba Chenglei, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Jiribam; A Ghanashyam Sharma, MPS, Superintendent of Police, Jiribam and Laishangbam Veerjeet Singh, Spokesperson BJP Manipur Pradesh graced the programme as a Chief Guest, President and Guests of honour respectively.
