Imphal, May 05:
The need of the hour for the people of Manipur, in the face of problems like killing and torture, is to join hands and stand united like our forefathers did during the British invasion of the state, said Manipur education minister L Jayentakumar while inaugurating a 4-day photo exhibition in honour of freedom fighters called Nirdan Darshan organized by the state art and culture department at art and culture gallery hall in Imphal on Monday.
After the completion of the exhibition in Manipur, the Nirdhan Darshan will be held at Kohima.
The exhibition has been sponsored by the directorate of Cultural affairs of the Maharashtra state government and the Union government of India.
