The Executive Council Meeting of the YUVA hosted by Dr..TMeinya, Member of Parliament was held at Manipur Bhawan here last evening to discuss about the problems of unemployment and terrorism in the country.

Dr T Meinya, Industrialist Shashi Dubey, founder President of Interfaith Harmony Foundation of India Dr Khwada Iftikhar Ahmed, AICC Secretary Dalbir Singh, General Body member of Art of Living Dr J.P.Gupta and General Secretary of YUVA Sunil Ahmed were among 30 members participated in the meeting chaired by the President of YUVA Rajeev Ranjan Singh.
The meeting decided to organise Tripura Convention and Jammu and Kashmir Convention of YUVA in May 2007.During the conventions, the YUVA will have talks with the Chief Ministers concerned for solving unemployment and terrorism.
More than 5000 students are expected to attend the Tripura Convention.
YUVA is a non-political organization, with a mission to unite the youth round the glove to tackle the problems of unemployment and terrorism as its main focus area.
Its mission is to empower the youth at every level to tackle and solve their problems at large.
Its five main targets are to combat unemployment, terrorism, illiteracy, health and poverty set by the United Nations for Millenium Development Goals.
It has its unit in 15 states namely Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand.
Dr T Meinya MP said the YUVA would initiate talks with banned organizations for solving their problems, take initiative on launching reformation movement for convicts and to stop deliberations on non-issues by the political leaders.
