Imphal, April 25 2009:
A two-member north Eastern Council (NEC) delegate would arrive on April 27 to review various development projects being implemented here in the State under the NEC sponsorship.
The delegate comprising the Council's Secretary UK Sangma and Planning Advisor PS Thangkiew during their stay here till April 29 will have wide-ranging discussions with State Govt officials on projects being envisioned and implemented under the Council.
According to an official source, the NEC duo would also visit project sites such as the agro-based ventures taken up in Ukhrul district under the sponsorship of International Fund for Agriculture, and potato farm and passion fruit project in mao sub-division of Senapati district.
