Imphal, March 30:
Setting the record straight, the proscribed UNLF today said that there are no suspects in its custody in connection with the kidnapping and later brutal murder of the two school boys of Senapati.
Reports filed by this paper on the basis of the information provided by the Core Committee had said that among the suspects rounded up by underground organisations and the police, two suspects were in the custody of the UNLF.
On further inquiry taken up by The Sangai Express, it has been confirmed that there are no suspects in the custody of the UNLF.
However the outfit did investigate the matter, said a member from the General Headquarters of the UNLF.
