Quiz competition held at Sugnu

Imphal, May 30 2012: A quiz competition was organised by 27 Assam Rifles of 9 sector at Sacred Heart High School, Sugnu on May 28 under "PARTNERS" programme in which a total of 63 students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm, informed a PRO IGAR (S) release.

Alongwith the prizes and motivational prizes to the competition winners and participants, sweets were also distributed to the students, who were exhorted to pursue a path of all round development so as to grow into responsible citizens on whom the future of the country depends.

The event will provide a quantum leap towards fostering the bond of friendship between the local populace and the Assam Rifles, expressed the PRO release while informing that officers of 27 Assam Rifles, in their message conveyed their best wishes to the children and termed such an event as the best means of character building and encourages team spirit.

The officers also exhorted the students to focus their energy into creative and positive activities to integrate themselves with the main stream of the country for a better and bright future of Manipur and wished them "Good Luck & Success" .

They further added that 27 Assam Rifles is planning to organize many more such events and sought active participation from all quarters of the society.

The School administration and prominent personalities of the area were also overwhelmed by the gesture of 27 Assam Rifles and expressed the hope that the youth of the region look towards the Assam Rifles with a lot of positive anticipation and mentioned that such noble endeavours of 27 Assam Rifles will definitely channelize the energies of the youth into fruitful activities which in turn will transform into Peace and Prosperity in the region.
