Seva Sankalp activities underway

As a part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the District Administration of various districts in collaboration with the line departments concerned continue to conduct a series of welfare and outreach activities.
Bishnupur
The District Administration, Bishnupur in coordination with My Bharat, Bishnupur, today organised a Seva Jyoti Yatra (Foot March) as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026.The Seva Jyoti Yatra was flagged off by Arambam Geetanjali from Bishnupur Police Station.
The foot march culminated at the Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur, where the participants were received by ADM Bishnupur Toijam Opendro.
The event was also attended by My Bharat District Officer Ambuj Nemiy and NSS cadets, along with other participants.
Chandel
School students in Chandel district participated in painting, essay and elocution competition as part of 'India of my Dreams' under the theme 'My Vision of Viksit Manipur'.
More than 300 students from 8 educational institutions participated in the competitions.
Meanwhile, under the Seva Setu campaign, the District Supply Officer Chandel, CAF & PD organised a public facilitation camp at Komlathabi.
Enrolment of new beneficiaries, e- KYC completion drive for NFSA beneficiaries, mobile number seeding against ration card and resolution of pending grievances related to ration card were done during the camp.
As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the SDO Chandel also visited various women and child care centers.
Churachandpur
As part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the Autonomous District Council, Churachandpur (ADCC) organized "Lok Kalyan Mela", an awareness campaign under PM SVANidhi Scheme for street vendors, vegetable vendors and fruit sellers at Nute Bazar, Hill Town, Churachandpur today.
The campaign is being organized under the supervision of Shokhongam Baite, CEO, ADCC.
The bank delegates from IDBI Bank S Thanglallun Ngaihte, Assistant Manager and HDFC Bank Officer, N Pauzalam attended and gave awareness to the street vendors under PM SVANidhi Scheme.
They informed that PM SVANidhi stands for Prime Minister Street Vendor's Atma Nirbhar Nidhi and it is a Government of India scheme for eligible street vendors and provides a collateral-free workingcapital loan.
Jiribam
A cultural performance and speech competition was held today at the Jiri College, Kadamtala, Jiribam on the theme 'My Vision of Vikshit Manipur'.
It may be mentioned that the Office of the District Supply Officer, Jiribam district, CAF&PD also conducted a Seva Setu Camp at Champanagar Community Hall, Dibong GP, Jiribam today.
Kakching
The District Administration Kakching organised the first Seva Setu Abhiyan at the DC Office complex, Kakching today.
A total of 17 departments participated in the programme, benefiting 306 beneficiaries through enrolment, verification, documentation and application facilities for various Government welfare schemes.
Usham Deben Singh, MLA, Wabagai Assembly Constituency along with Deputy Commissioner Kakching Angeline Renita R; Additional Deputy Commissioner Elangbam Anand Singh along with the officers of the District Administration Kakching inspected stalls set up by various departments.
As part of the programme, hearing aids, appreciation certificates for Anganwadi Workers (AWW) and Accredited Social Health Activists,(ASHA) workers, Manipur Old Age Pension Scheme cards, bee boxes and organic compost were distributed to beneficiaries.
A health camp was also organised by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Kakching.
Later, a tree plantation drive was also conducted at the DC Office complex.
Kangpokpi
The District Administration, Kangpokpi, in collaboration with the District Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution (CAF& PD) Department, Zonal Education Office (ZEO), and Sericulture Department, organized a series of activities under the theme "Namo Seva Gatha" .
Noney
The Zonal Education Office, (ZEO) Noney, under the supervision of the District Administration, Noney organised a an essay competition at St Joseph School today.
The Consumer Affairs Food and Public Distribution ( CAF&PD) also organised a Seva Setu Camp at Rangkhung in Noney District under the supervision of the District Administration, Noney.
On the other hand, edible items under pulses mission and KNAPSACK sprayer under SMAM Scheme Distribution were given to beneficiaries at the DC office Complex by the Noney DC Shri Vidyamri Sridhar.
An awareness and sensitization program on substance abuse was also conducted at Tentmaker Academy Noney which was jointly organised by District Administration Noney and District Social Welfare Officer ( DSWO) under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) in collaboration with Zonal Education Office ( ZEO), Noney.
Pherzawl
The District Administration, Pherzawl continued its ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan with a Seva Jyoti Yatra (foot march) at Senvon village, along with school-based cleanliness drives and student competitions.
The early-morning awareness campaign was organised from 6 am to 7 am under the Seva Sankalp Utsav Abhiyaan 2026, drawing around 211 local residents, community stakeholders and other participants.
The campaign was organised in collaboration with the Parbung Sub-Division Office, Senvon Village Authority and local civil society organisations.
The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan also reached educational institutions, with students participating in activities aimed at promoting civic responsibility and community awareness.
As part of the continuing programme, Swachhata Hi Seva activities were conducted at Pherzawl Government High School and DR Thuoma Government High School, Patpuihmun.
Students of both institutions took part in cleanliness drives on their respective school premises.
Meanwhile, essay and painting competitions under the 'India of Dreams-Art Seva' initiative were held at Parbung Higher Secondary School and Parvachawm High School organised by the District Administration and the Zonal Education Office in collaboration with the Directorate of Education (S), Manipur.
