Chd/Kak/Kam/Kpi/Tpl, August 26 2022: District Administration Chandel today organised the second edition of "Hill Leaders Day & Meeyamgi Numit" at Multipurpose hall, Mini Secretariat, DC complex, Chandel.

During the programme, Deputy Commissioner Chandel, Mayanglambam Rajkumar and SDOs of all the 3 Subdivisions interacted with the village leaders and discussed their issues one by one.

Applications of various issues related to developmental works and others were received for further necessary actions.

Institutes like ITI Chandel were also seen opening spot admission for various ITI courses.

Besides providing other services many people were administered Covid vaccine by the CMO team.

Health Department carried out disability online registration, birth certificates, CMHA screening, PMJAY verifications, etc.

SDOs, DLOs and other officials of the district also took part in the event.

KAKCHING
District Administration Kakching also organised the second "Meeyamgi Numit" in respect of Kakching District at the DC's Office Complex, Kakching.

Altogether, 27 Departments opened their stalls to provide public services and address grievances.

The public expressed their gratitude on being provided the opportunity to interact with the District Level Officers including the private sector banks.

Meeyamgi Numit will be held on the 4th Friday of every month.

In case the 4th Friday is a holiday, it will be held on the 4th Thursday of the month.

KAMJONG
District Administration Kamjong also observed "Hill Leaders Day & Meeyamgi Numit" at Sadhavna hall, Kasom Khullen Sub-divisional headquarter.

DC, Rangnamei Rang Peter, IAS; Superintendent of Police, P Manjit, IPS; SDO Kasom Khullen, Duna Duo; and other DLOs of the district attended the event.

At the event, the DLOs opened their mobile stalls to cater the demands and grievances of the public.

The DC along with the Chief Medical Officer of the district handed over one CMHT Card and one PMJAY Card that were immediately processed on the spot to two beneficiaries.

The stall of CAF & PD also issued ration cards to many beneficiaries on the spot.

The District Forest Office also distributed 1000 plant saplings to the public.

Speaking on the occasion, Rangnamei Rang Peter stressed on the importance of such an event, especially in a remote district like Kamjong, where the public face inconveniences to reap benefits arranged by the Government.

He thanked the Government officials of the district and public for making the event a grand success.

He also informed that the next Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit will be held at Phungyar Sub-division.

KANGPOKPI
District Administration Kangpokpi also organised "Hill Leaders' Day and Meeyamgi Numit" for the second time with 43 line departments at Sadbhavna Mandap in Kangpokpi Headquarters today.

Altogether, 5957 services were delivered and 37 applications/grievances were received during the programme.

DC Kangpokpi, Kengoo Zuringla, IAS, directed all the DLOs of various departments to guide the public and resolve their grievances at the earliest.

She also interacted and heard the grievances of the public.

The total number of services which were delivered today by various departments are as follows: CMHT/CMHA- 46, Covid vaccination-12, Health ID- 5, PMJAY- 1, Old Age Pension Scheme- 1, PMMVY/DPO- 4, Fertiliser & Other Agriculture related materials- 10, Tree Saplings/Forest- 950, Seed Balls/Forest- 4780, Yarn cards- 3, Weaver cards- 11, Ration card/EPOS Machine- 28, Childline Kangpokpi- 2, Fishery- 4, Certificates (Tribe/Income/Domicile/PRC)- 83, One Stop Centre- 3, Veterinary and Animal Husbandry- 7, Treasury- 5, MSPDCL- 1 and PMEGP/DIC- 1 .

A total of 179 officials of various departments attended the programme.

TENGNOUPAL
The second "District Hill Leaders Day & Meeyamgi Numit" in respect of Tengnoupal District was held today at DC Conference Hall, Tengnoupal.

A total of 19 Departments opened their stall to assist and distribute beneficial schemes to the public.

In the event, CAF & PD issued ration cards to 620 beneficiaries; DPO/ICDS issued 14 PMMVY form and enrolled 47 persons for Aadhar card; PHED issued 1booklet of Water Testing kit; Forest Department distributed 626 sapling; Health Department issued 20 CMHT cards, 30 beneficiaries were screened and 9 people were vaccinated.

DC Tengnoupal, Additional Superintendent of Police, Divisional Forest Officer, Sub Divisional Officers of Tengnoupal/ Machi/ Moreh, DLOs and officials of all the line Departments of the district interacted and assisted the people at the event.
