All Manipur Dalit Development Association Senapati branch inaugurated

Senapati, September 20 2022: Dr TM Rajen Ayangba, President, All Manipur Dalit Development Association, Imphal inaugurated the office of All Manipur Dalit Development Association, Senapati branch today at Mao Karong.

Dignitaries present at the event include N Ibochou Singh, Chief Controller, All Manipur Dalit Development Association and Moirangthem Sarojini Laima, Advisor, All Manipur Dalit Development Association.

In his keynote address, AS Graceson Marao, president, All Manipur Dalit Development Association, Senapati Branch stated that dalit association was formed so as to look into the upliftment and welfare of the poor and needy irrespective of whether they belong to scheduled tribe or caste.

Speaking as the chief guest, Dr TM Rajen Ayangba opined that to serve the poor, sacrifice for them and help them is a service of humanity.

With no developmental projects taken up in a region, roads left unattended and so on, all people of the region belong to dalit community, he claimed.

Silas Zho, President, Senapati District Village Chief Association also attended the function along with delegates from different districts including Kangpokpi, Pherzawl, Kamjong, Ukhrul, Thoubal, Noney and Tamenglong.

Founding members of the associations also attended the inaugural program.
