Kakching, March 02 2025: The much neglected road condition and drainage system of Sora area will be repaired and developed in the coming days, said Kakching AC MLA Mayanglangbam Rameshwar.

He made the announcement while inspecting the developmental works which are being undertaken in Sora areas under MGNREGS and PWD.

MLA Rameshwar stated that the developmental works of Sora areas, which have been neglected for the past many years, have begun, and the road stretch of Sora leading to Irengband has been put in the work programme for blacktopping.

He continued that the roads of Sora Mamang and Manning will also be blacktopped soon to facilitate the people in commuting during the rainy season.

He further assured to develop the infrastructure of Sora High School under School Phagathansi Mission and to set up a new Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Sora to provide much needed healthcare to the people of the area.
