Imphal, March 22 2015: President extends greetings on the occasion of Sajibu Cheiraoba .

NEW DELHI, MAR 20 (PIB): President of India Pranab Mukherjee in his message on the eve of and Sajibu Cheiraoba, Chaitra Sukladi, Ugadi, Gudi Padava, Cheti Chand and Navreh said: "On the joyous occasion of Chaitra Sukladi, Ugadi, Gudi Padava, Chetti Chand, Navreh and Sajibu Cheiraoba, I send greetings and good wishes to all my fellow citizens celebrating these festivals in different parts of the country" .

In a message, Pranab Mukherjee said these festivals herald the advent of spring time � a time of joy, hope and creativity as nature unravels its limitless bounty.

May the celebrations of these festivals promote among our diverse people the values of tolerance and fellow feeling and strengthen their traditional bonds of amity, understanding and harmony.

"Let us together pledge to re-dedicate ourselves to the task of achieving inclusive development and equitable growth for the well-being of all", said the President.
