Persons who were trying to get project from Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MACS) in the name of NSCN (I-M) have been pulled up by a team of the central special force of United National Liberation front (UNLF).
The two persons have been identified as Naorem Roben (26) s/o Naorem Kala of Yairipok Top and Sanjenbam Deben (26) s/o Saanjenbam Bheigya.
Parading them before media persons somewhere in Bishnupur district, a spokesperson of the central special force of UNLF said on receipt of information of demand for issuing project of MACS in favour of Loyalam Foundation, an NGO based at Yairipok Bishnunaha, a team of central special force was pressed into action and consequently rounded up Roben and Deben while coming to MACS office at around 2 pm on August 8.During the course of interrogation it has been established that both of them do not have any connection with NSCN (I-M).
Subsequently, they have been set free as first warning in accordance to the rules and regulation of the party and handed over to their respective family members after giving proper advice.
In case, they continue to indulge in such activities, then the party would not forgive them, the spokesperson said.
Roben and Deben admitted the charges levelled against them and promised to stay away from such activities in future.
