Imphal, December 26: The decision by any group or individual to meet the Review Committee when it comes to Manipur is a wrong one the Working Committee of the Apunba Lup today said.

It is a move to diver the attention of the people it further said.

It further said we should understand that the attention of the people can not be diverted.

Some in the name of WCAL went to Delhi on their own without the consent of the WCAL and agreed to the term review and replacement it further said.

Those who published in the paper regarding the participation of people in the public hearing as a sign of support to AFSFA Review Committee who are trying to translate review and replacement into practice should be known to the people of Manipur a press hand out issued by Jotin Salam, RK Bhumi and Ch Premita today said.

In collusion with the government some are trying to enable more atrocities on the people for six more months.

The agitation was not launched for review of the act but for the repeal of the act.

The movement will be rendered meaningless if it will conclude by a review of the act it said.

The word review divert the attention of the people and it asked the people not to take part in the public hearing to be held from Dec 28 to 30.The WCAL has called a 13 hour general strike from 4 am till 5 pm tomorrow.

It has also imposed public curfew at the office complex of Manipur human rights commission, Lamphelpat on Dec 28, 29 and 30.
