Mass vaccination drive at Oriental Club Khongman Mangjil of Thongju AC

In continuation of the mass vaccination program held under the aegis of Works Minister and MLA of Thongju AC, Thongam Biswajit with the theme Under vaccine for all, a Mass vaccination program was held today at the Oriental Club Khongman Mangjil of Khongman Gram Panchayat with an aim to provide vaccination for every person in Thongju Assembly constituency to prevent the further spread of Covid-19.

The vaccination program was conducted under the auspices of District Administration Imphal East and organised by Thongju Kendra Voluntary Worker's Covid-19 Relief Committee.

All the 7 Pradhans of Thongju Kendra, 58 Ward Members, and 45 local clubs whole heartedly supported the noble initiatives of MLA Th Biswajit by participating in the Programs. Thongju Kendra of the Imphal East District is moving ahead of Vaccination programs under the strict supervision of MLA Th. Biswajit by nearly 90% of the AC population as said by S. Ibobi President TKRC.

During the mass vaccination drive, Minister Thongam Biswajit who has been working relentlessly to vaccinate each and every individual of Thongju AC, visited the centre and distributed edible food items to the peoples who came out for Covid-19 vaccine and lauded the efforts of Doctors and Nurses . In the meantime Works Minister Th Biswajit also presented a wheelchair to Heishnam Chura of Kelli Leirak of Khongman Mangjil.

Yesterday also Th Biswajit visited mass vaccination centre at Modern Club and Akampat Multipurpose Community hall of Torban Kshetri Leikai Gram Panchayat of Thongju AC.

So far 41 programs of Mass testing, Awareness and Mass Vaccination Programs have been successfully implemented in Thongju Assembly Constituency during the present second wave of Covid 19 pandemic.
