Momento and Certificate to be Distributed

State Central Library Imphal Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur will honour the Book Donors to the State Central Library after the unfortunate fire of 2005 that burn down the Library with Momento and Certificate.

Those who have donated books are requested to come to State Central Library Hall on 18/03/2012 at 1 pm and collect the gifts. For those who cannot make it on the said day can collect the gift by showing the proper information.

Thouramsida lairik donate toubikhibasingna tang 18/03/2012 State Central Library Hall Imphal da nungthil pung 1 da lakpiduna khudolpotsing loubiranaba haijari. Kanagumbasingna chithahouba yaobiragasu mari leinaba che chang pubiraktuna khudolsi loubiba yagani.

E-pao's only motive is to serve the people of Manipur and help our people with the means we have. The unfortunate fire of 2005 that burn down the State Central Library Imphal was a shocking incident for all the Manipuris.

Many collection of books which would be hard to find again were turned to ashes in the fire. However, we cannot live by regretting the past and we have to move forward.

Many people all over Manipur contributed Books to the State Central Library so that it can survive again. We are happy to inform to all that E-pao too contributed books for the people to the Library and hope that such shocking incidents of burning down Libraries never happen again for the sake of our people and future.
