Relief in December 2023 for IDPs

In continuation of its Relief Services, the Ramakrishna Mission, Babupara, Imphal, in December 2023, distributed 752 Winter Blankets, 695 Upper Thermal Wear, 268 Thermal Lowers, 330 Pair Socks, apart from other essential items, at 16 relief camps, for the internally displaced people & other affected people at Wangoo, Ithai Khunou, Kumbi, Moirang Khunou, Laisoi, Kwakta, Nambol SAI Complex, Lamboikhongnangkhong and Laimaram. Expectant Mothers & Infants were also provided with food supplements and Stationery items were also provided for the students.

Overall, as part of its winter relief services, the Mission has so far provided more than 10,000 Winter Blankets, apart from other essentials, benefitting over 5000 families, sheltered in more than 100 Relief Camps in Imphal East, Imphal West, Kakching, Thoubal & Bishnupur Districts. Efforts are also being made to provide winter clothing, especially for the students & elders staying in the relief camps.

Since 10th of May, 2023, the Ramakrishna Mission has been relentlessly serving the afflicted people, in all possible ways, and reiterates deepest sympathies for all the families affected by the ongoing crisis & conveys sincere prayers for their well being.
