Northeast law university enrols first batch of students

The first batch of students got enrolled in the first National Law University of the northeast in Guwahati on Tuesday.
The classes for five-year integrated BA LLB course for the first batch would start on September 1 at the university with 25 per cent seats reserved for students of Assam.
"Undoubtedly, the law university which is the 13th organization in India, would be able to cater to the needs of law students of the northeast. The Assam government and the University Grants Commission will fund various development projects to be taken up in the coming days. Funds will also be provided from the Annual Central Assistance", Singh added.
