On India Today TV declaration of CM N. Biren Singh as the 3rd best CM

‘No man is perfect ’ – the adage need to be remembered by each and every human being particularly by those who rule the state or who have ambition of become the ruler some day.

Sometimes when man have power and money they forget that there are something he cannot do or think justifiably what a common man finish up or solve without taking much time.

If the person or say the public leader, who have both power and money want fame and popularity for doing good deeds, he should listen and accept criticisms from people.

And a clear and clean mind should always make his mind occupied with positive thinking and he should never misuse his position.

Yes, Imphal Times is talking about the recent development of the controversial claimed of Manipur CM as the 3 best chief Minister of the country by one private TV channel called India Today.

Credibility of the television network about how they calculate who is better or who is worst has nothing to do for bringing up the issue of Chief Minister N. Biren Singh becoming the 3rd best CM of the country.

It is about misused of his position for political gain. In house celebration of the political party and his family for being chosen as 3rd best CM is okay, but when it comes to public with a motive to influence the people, then there is no wrong in the saying that “Politics is the last refuge of scoundrels”.

Misleading information to win the people heard is not a good politics. But the phenomenon is being practice across the country.

80% of politicians across the country, no matter, which political party he or she belongs to tell lei, makes false promise to get elected.

The dirty game played by these politicians has now reached beyond expectation and the meaning of the Democracy has been confuse to young people who are studying higher studies as well as scholars who are teaching in University and colleges.

The issue of Chief Minister N. Biren Singh on his chosen as 3rd best Chief Minister is being reported not because Imphal Times do not want him to the best.

It was because; Imphal Times always wanted him to the best that every wrong or immature decision has been highlighted to make the Chief Minister understand his imperfection.

But there are certain points that this India Today TV episode needs to be highlighted.

Number 1 – no proper verification on the declaration of the CM N. Biren Singh as the 3rd best CM has not been properly done.

Number 2- India Today TV is a private TV Channel and there are many other news channels who may do the same kind of survey and who knows another national TV Channel lift him up as the best Chief Minister.

Will there be bigger celebration?

Has our chief Minister gone down in such a low level that everytime some TV channel honoured him he will make it public?

And most embarrassing situation is the felicitation by the Governor Manipur at her office bungalow for becoming the 3rd best chief Minister without conducting proper verification.

The kind of felicitation has certainly degraded the office of the government and it’s natural that people of the state are put on shame.

It is now clear from the clarification by two authorities from the India Today TV which have different version showed that something is not right and declaration of Manipur CM as the best may be an appeasement policy of the TV Channel to get some revenue in the form of advertisement from the government of Manipur.

Last but not the least – it is easy to fool some people for some time but you can’t fool all the people all the time.
