Qualification : BE/Btech/MBA

Responsibilities:
Ø Should have completed one project life cycle or at least completed half of it.
Ø Any domain, but should be from technical background.
Ø Experience-5 – 7 years

Network Management Engineer:

Function : Defence
Location : Bangalore
Experience : 3 – 6 years
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (CS/E&C/E&E)

Required Skills:
Ø Good programming skills in C and/or C++, Data Structures
Ø - Any real time OS or Linux based platform experience
Ø - Hands on development in SNMP (v1/v2c/v3) and MIBs
Ø - Should have worked on CLI and Web based management interfaces
Ø - Working knowledge of HTTP, HTML, AJAX, Javascript is desirable

Mechanical Engineer

Location : Bangalore
Experience : 10 – 12 years
Qualification : BE/Btech/

Responsibilities:
Ø Provide Technical leadership to early concept investigations for telecom products and system mechanical including chassis architecture, thermal, DFM, acoustic and industrial design strategy.
Ø Work cross-functionally with cross functional architects, power, electrical, EMC, software teams to develop design concepts that will become part of product roadmap. Engage with Product Manager, development teams and other functional teams to create long term product startegy.
Ø Responsible for ME system strategy which aligns to a cross-portfolio, multi-generational product portfolio strategy.
Ø Responsible for product definition and feasibility analysis for mechanical aspect of products ensuring compliance to overall portfolio strategy. Initial prototyping in conjunction with key partners to validate and prove new technology implementations.
Ø Document and manage engineering requirements specifications for the mechanical design which will outline feature, cost and quality requirements.
Ø Participate in industry forums in understanding and latest technology trends and represent Tejas in new technology standard development forums.
Ø Research new components, vendors and technologies to meet product goals. Evaluate technology from suppliers and vendors and provide assessments and direction.
Ø Build relationship with key suppliers and technology partners to enable alignment with Tejas’s product portfolio and enable technical implementation
Ø Support Design reviews with suppliers and internal development teams. Establish internal guidelines for DFM.
Ø Analyzes and specifies equipment to establish solutions to complex problems.
Ø Uses skills to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
Ø Ensure product meets requirements which include telecom, regulatory and environmental specifications.
Ø Drive for improvement in development processes and identify cycle time reduction opportunities in mechanical systems development efforts.
Ø Develop patentable ideas.

Required Skills:
Ø Demonstrated experience in developing complex sheet metal enclosures with high density packaging and significantly complex thermal solution
Ø Proficient in use of MCAD tools, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Flowtherm
Ø Experience in developing six sigma designs.
Ø Experience in developing products for high volume manufacturing
Ø Strong knowledge and experience in using tools and methods for tolerance stack analysis
Ø Familiar with DFM and DFX requirements for ME development
Ø Knowledge of telecom standards preferred.
Ø Communicates well verbally, in writing, and graphically to make clear and effective presentations to inform and persuade peers and managers.
Ø Need to have excellent organizational skills and the ability to establish clear goals and formulate plans to achieve them.
Ø Works independently and as part of a team.
Ø Ability to learn risk management skills (understands risk, assesses risk qualitatively, and uses techniques to measure performance of subcontractors and vendors).
Ø Must have experience in working with internal and external partners.
Ø Would like a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a customer oriented, very fast-paced, and demanding environment with minimal supervision.
Ø Should have following leadership qualities: integrity, attention to detail, timeline sensitive, goal oriented, motivator, strong consulting skills.

DWDM Lead Engineer:

Function : POTP
Location : Bangalore
Experience : 7+ years
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (CS/ECE)

Responsibilities:
Ø Shall Drive Software Architecture, Design and Development for the DWDM products.
Ø Shall work with team and provide technical guidance to the team.
Ø Shall drive design reviews and participate in important code reviews.
Ø Shall interact with HW, FPGA teams in architecting the DWDM products.
Ø Shall interact with the system verification team in driving the product releases to a closure.

Required Skills:
Ø Shall have solid experience in one of the DWDM especially MIB design, Object Modeling
Ø Shall have hands on experience delivering carrier grade software.
Ø Shall have strong SW design and architecture capabilities.
Ø Shall have strong C,C++,Linux skills.
Ø Ideal candidate shall possess solid technical skill. Management skills is a plus

DWDM Senior/ Engineer:

Function : POTP
Location : Bangalore
Experience : 3 - 5 years
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (CS/ECE)

Responsibilities:
Ø Shall work with Software leads in design & development of assigned feature.
Ø Shall drive design reviews and participate in important code reviews.
Ø Shall interact with HW, FPGA teams to make sure required functionality is designed.
Ø Shall interact with the system verification team in driving the product releases to a closure.

Required Skills:
Ø Shall have experience in DWDM in one of the areas like Management or performance monitoring or End-To-End optical power control etc
Ø Experience in OTN, SONET/SDH is desired
Ø Shall have hands on experience delivering carrier grade software.
Ø Shall have strong SW design and architecture capabilities.
Ø Shall have strong C,C++,Linux skills.
Ø Knowledge of Linux device drivers is desirable

POTP Embedded Senior Engineer:

Function : POTP
Location : Bangalore
Experience : 3 - 5 years
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (CS/ECE)

Responsibilities:
Ø Shall work with Software leads in design & development of assigned feature.
Ø Shall drive design reviews and participate in important code reviews.
Ø Shall interact with HW, FPGA teams to make sure required functionality is designed.
Ø Shall interact with the system verification team in driving the product releases to a closure.

Required Skills:
Ø Shall have experience in SONET/SDH/Ethernet Transport in the areas like Management or performance monitoring or data path
Ø Shall have hands on experience delivering carrier grade software.
Ø Shall have strong SW design and architecture capabilities.
Ø Shall have strong C,C++,Linux skills.
Ø Knowledge of protocols like SNMP or TL1 is desirable
Ø Knowledge of Linux device drivers is desirable

Embedded Software Control Plane Engineer:

Function : Control Plane - POTP
Location : Bangalore
Experience : 2-6 years
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (CS/E&C/E&E)

Responsibilities:
Ø Design and implementation of one or more products / modules in embedded systems
Ø Participation on development of various aspects of the product (business logic, database, user interface)
Ø Collaborate with testing, documentation and product management
Ø Create design documents from requirements
Ø Work in a small dynamic team with good career opportunities

Required Skills:
Ø IP/L3 Routing: Route Table Management, ARP, Linux IP Stack, Static Routing & Hardware Routing
Ø Any one of the Routing Protocols like OSPF, ISIS, RIP
Ø L2 Switching: VLAN configuration
Ø GMPLS/MPLS which may include any one of the following – RSVP-TE or LDP
Ø Expertise in C, C++
Ø Device Driver, interrupt handling in Linux
Ø Strong problem solving and debugging skills
Ø Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:
Ø Domain experience with one or more of Telecom technologies - SONET, SDH, DWDM, or MPLS

Ethernet transport R&D Engineer:

Function : POTP Team
Location : Bangalore
Experience : 2-6 years
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (CS/E&C/E&E)

Responsibilities:
Ø Understanding Requirements, Design, Development and Unit Testing for Ethernet Over SDH(EoS) and Ethernet over PDH(EoPDH) cards and products.
Ø Software Planning and Development for the Transport Ethernet products.
Ø Work involves close coordination with Hardware/FPGA teams to influence design and architecture.
Ø Work involves ownership of features and products for the entire process cycle.
Ø Work involves system software and working on L1 features like VCAT, GFP, LCAS which are used in EoS and EoPDH.
Ø Requires interaction with system verification team in driving the product releases to a closure.

Required Skills:
Ø System Software development using C and C++ on a Real Time Linux system.
Ø Good experience in Object Oriented Analysis & Design and use of Design Patterns.
Ø Domain knowledge in one or more of Telecom technologies such as - SONET, SDH, VCAT, GFP and LCAS.
Ø Experience in working on high availability systems involving protection and card switching.
Ø Must have hands on experience delivering carrier grade software.
