The recently concluded Anubhuti Kakoty Goswami and Emon Seuj Goswami's 'Melodic Minds', organized by Byatikram MASDO, a reputed NGO based in Guwahati, has garnered widespread acclaim and appreciation. Dr. Amal Chandra Kataki, Director of Healthcare Department of Shrimanta Sankardeva University, Dr.Navanil Barua, Senior Neurosurgeon from Guwahati and Dr Akhil Ranjan Dutta, Professor, Guwahati University, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor. Spanning from the 20th of April with sessions in Sonari, Moran, Jorhat, and concluding on the 27th of April in Guwahati, the tour witnessed a remarkable turnout with over 200 participants from diverse backgrounds. The Music Therapy tour explored the therapeutic potential of music in promoting mental and emotional well-being. The event featured interactive workshops, live performances, and insightful discussions led by renowned music therapists Mrs. Anubhuti Goswami. This enthusiastic response underscores the growing recognition of Music Therapy as a transformative approach to healing and personal growth.

The retreat demonstrated the profound impact that music can have on our mental health and overall well-being," said Dr Akhil Ranjan Dutta, Professor, Political Science, Guwahati University. A significant highlight of the tour was the Music Therapy session held at schools, where the positive outcomes prompted the school authorities to integrate Music Therapy into their curriculum through virtual sessions, highlighting its enduring benefits in promoting well-being among children.

The tour's conclusion in Guwahati featured a captivating panel discussion on the importance of Music Therapy and it's allied subjects moderated by Mrs.TinatAtifaMasud. Esteemed guest speakers Nahid S. Islam (Psychiatry), ShashwatiPhukan (Psychology), Mrs. Manisha Hazarika, a renowned musician and social worker, Sri LoknathGoswami, an esteemed singer and composer, Dr.Madhan Baruh, and Ravi Prashad Sarmah joined the discussion with Anubhuti Goswami, delving into the therapeutic applications of music and emphasizing its pivotal role in holistic wellness and self-discovery.
