THE POSITION

REPORTS TO: Team Leader

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
The candidate must be able to work with Process & Sub Process owners & other members of the APC-MGE technical team.

MAIN PURPOSE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
As a member of the GAM Application Analysts team the SENIOR Business Systems Analyst position must be able to participate in the setup, maintenance and enhancement of APC-MGE's ERP system. Under the leadership of Applications Team Leaders, senior analysts collaborate with company customers, vendors, staff, IT colleagues, and process teams to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solutions. They share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time application delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities and the ability to act effectively as a team member.

A SENIOR Business Systems Analyst must have working experience in their applications/process area & must be able to be responsible & work independently on tasks & small projects.

Primary Functions

• Responsible for setup, support & maintenance of oracle application modules
• Working on system changes, testing & new functions implementation
• Project Lead in small projects & team participant in larger scale projects.

• SQL skills essential for trouble shooting
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Able to take responsibility for actions and while overcoming obstacles to achieving the business objectives
• Perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as the business demands change; manage transition effectively from task to task
• Understanding of the Finance process
