It must be good to know the very word "Annexation", coined by a few liberalists/independentists in our sub-nation state Manipur. The spinning time thus brings along our men and the few million peoples into a platform of utilitarianism, and still curbs the hitherto untamed knowledge of the term, our democratically formed state 'Manipur' annexed under the Indian dominion illegitimately.

It would not be lately introduction that has been captivated under the Indian rule, our sovereignty/freedom for more than five decades since India's independence, which every people of state should construct an idealism towards the reality of the state's deteriorated conditions, so as to save the young generations of our old aged Manipur. Most of the intellectuals and scholars of the state are aware of the fact about the merger issue that arouse decades before and giving the full awareness campaign to the people by mid 90s. Being a rich heritage and cultured land, people are proud of having such worth and matchless well known ancestral heritage, despite having lost our sovereignty/freedom by the year 1949. Follows the nine articles of five page papers, entitled "Manipur Merger Agreement', which brought our land a sleepless valley and hills of blood and tears.

When we again focused on insurgency issues in the state, many insurgent/militant groups are demanding our lost sovereignty. The insurgency issues that has already been instituted and overcomes to our national and state's socio-economic-political dais uninterruptly since early 1960s, for bringing back our lost independence, this is then named "secessionists" as Government entitled. It would be a bitter irony that has closed the gate (post-eradication of colonialism 1990-2000), when we are recalling the very said issue, since every intellectual/reformer has begun a new pace on a new track by 'issue' as tool for to reestablish and bring back the freedom to the 2.3 million people of Manipur by paying the wrecked annals of state under the colonial domination in the platforms like United Nations.

People never tried to clearly understand the subject, and it obviously makes them ambiguous & blurred within the distorted wheels of colonial regime. People are very much obviously aware that the politically fractured Manipur is due to the lack of political history (institutions of colonial education) of Manipur, due to the blind political strategies of Manipur (colonial polity) which has been spontaneously welcomed and succeeded by the money hunter colonial landlords.

This is a ripe time for all the people of Manipur to know, how we understand to 'merger or annexation' so far? The 1949 agreement is known as Manipur Merger Agreement and why few contemporary independentists or secessionists called the said agreement as "Annexation"? We should know the very problem, which is still striking our Manipur, since this remains as a stumbling block in our state's development (most of the peoples' blaming).

There is no example to present to the 2.3 million peoples of Manipur, how and in what worse condition our state is living on the edge. No one has courage and dare to say about the Non-Self Governing Territory in the capitol region loudly, no one has the definite and profound knowledge about the "Agenda" of our state to the United Nations and no one is sharply leading to a new trend of fairness and justice, where there is no educationist alive but intellectuals exist. Everything happens to be of Utopian educationist: certification from any university and doing a white collar job is not the way to find liberty and a sound Manipur, living even if with above said manner but with doing less effort (even mentally) for the state is not the way to lit a new flame of peace and solidarity; officious and acting with each other, bossism by few bounded knowledge is not the way to know about the current problem of Manipur. The way we should choose is nothing rather than constructing a new thinking beyond colonial doctrine, of victimized Manipur, which is yet under the one of the lowest rung of the human chain in the humiliating ladder of the country.

Here we are confined to a dogma of illogical and irrational thinking by leaving the practical liberty far beyond understanding. We do never say or raise the voice for liberating Manipur; we do never mention the things that may turn ablaze, nevertheless we are just seeking asylum from this era of human domination and neo-imperialism when the rest people of the world went million miles ahead.

No doubt quest for diamond and gold is no longer existent but fighting for a liberal and rational world under the same inalienable nation itself is worth wealth we will prize. Today's contemporary world doesn't care for the others but only for himself, survival for fittest does came passes and followed our world of human being, for power and subsequently for the greatest 'atrocious imperialism'. And, colonialism itself is a word that diverts rather from annexation. Leaving the same breeds into the same undisclosed place would measure only the let go the blood of the contemporary into an unseen generation where only mighty will come and win. No matter how far you are too late to cope with the wrecked history, that we must fill the gaps, nevertheless learning concretely and sympathizing the reality of deteriorated Manipur is the post-concept we would overcome and handle for a better tomorrow.
